WHY IT FITS · ANALYST ASSESSMENT
Conditional technical-project fit only: community-led evaluations, audits or shared datasets. Published scope restriction: projects primarily about AI literacy, AI-tool adoption or research without community leadership/action are out of scope. A standard AI-skills course does not qualify.
Recommended next action
Outline a community-led evaluation, audit or shared-dataset project, with community decision-making documented; exclude a standard AI-literacy or adoption program.
Eligibility
U.S. nonprofit lead or eligible fiscal-sponsor arrangement. A community-led project is required; ordinary for-profit product development is not the route.
Requirements to verify
- Tiered awards; do not default to the $1M maximum.
- Initial narrative precedes fuller finalist materials.
- Keep charitable benefit and commercial-company activity separate.
Eligibility and complete application documents must be checked before any submission.
